Hi buddy,,,,,
I had most of the parts in stock, but managed to get the heads for all the toms from Germany...
A friend who specializes in paint removal has removed 2 coats of the white paint and also black bitumen under the wallpaper!!!
Well delighted so far....
The green sparkle has survived well since 1956!!!
...Will update again in 3 weeks....
Absolutely one of the weirdest drum sets ever made. VERY cool score for both the drum world and also for the world of modern art sculptures!
Coming along nicely!! Please keep us updated...
Cheers
Such a cool kit! If George Jetson or his boy Elroy played the drums, they would play this kit!Cool1
They obviously fell into the right hands, because you are restoring these very nicely. Crazy that anyone would paint over that green sparkle wrap, but I guess people go with what's in at certain times. Green is pretty rare.
How do these drums sound? Probably a good rock sound.
