For no apparent reason, I suddenly had the urge to watch this video from 1975. As much as i like the various versions of this song by Talking heads and/or David Byrne solo, the Al Green versions of his own song are my favorites. Look at the ill-fated bowl-shaped fiberglass drums.

Looks to me like the drums are the Zickos brand. I have some photos of a similar shaped early acrylic/Plexiglas set from California. I don't know anything about them, but these and the Zickos seems to be just perfect for those platform shoe disco gigs...

They were ill-fated as a success, and did not stick around for very long. I remember seeing another video with one or both drummers with James Brown playing a set of these drums.
