If you want more info on the DC1000 (Drum City) drum kit see this post: http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=65049
I found/ordered this kit online from a music store. I was intrigued by the unique/cool "DC" lugs and finding that the latter (starting in the 80's) DC1000 drums used REMO Acousticon SE shells and Quadura wraps. The shells are very thin and produce great resonance. They sound pretty stinkin' amazing and are extremely easy to tune up. The shell sizes are 22x16 kick, 12x10 & 13x11 rack toms and a 16x18 floor tom. This is the first 16" tom that I have owned that is deeper than 16"! Only issues with it is that it is missing one lug, one of the bass drum leg holders is broken (leg is missing), tom arms were not included and the tom holder mount it missing on the 12" tom. I got it for $100 shipping included...so I can't complain, lol. Very unique and rare kit!
