That looks like a modified Slingerland with possibly a Premier pipe band snare system.

1974-75 Rogers Starlighter IV New England White 13/16/22 (w/Dyna)
1964-67 Rogers Blue Glass Glitter 12/14/16/20
early Oaklawn Camco Blue Moire 12/14/20
1926 Super Ludwig 5x14
1960-ish Ludwig COB 5x14 Super Sensitive
1960-ish Ludwig COB 6.5x14 Super Sensitive
1970 Ludwig COB Cut-Badge 5x14 Supra Phonic

Looking for a Camco Aristocrat SD in Blue Moire!!

I can second the opinion that the batter head internal snare system is from a Premier pipe band snare drum. I don't remember exactly but I think the Premier model was called a Royal Scot. Still it is a cool drum. One incontrovertible test is to play the drum with only the top snare system engaged and see if you develop an unexplained desire for fine single malt whisky...

Haha, tried to play it with the top snare system engaged and it would sound great in a bagpipe parade.

I will "third" this! Yes, a Slingerland TDR snare drum with a Premier Flo-Beam system for Pipe Drums!

Does the top strand of snares make the drum sound like gnats passing gas when it's engaged? You know.......that annoying sound that has become pretty much standard in drum corps. Why don't the drummers just carry a slab of a Formica counter top and play it with heavy plastic sticks?

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.
