It’s pretty late there now I guess. It’s up to you if you want to wait to know the condition. To me the 12x8 looks pretty good.

Its just gone midnight here. This is what i do and most of the time do a good job. I did notice some of the rods looked a bit crappy. But the rods on the 14 are same so i could give you the best on the 12. Also when replacing the dagger mount with a lokfast mount it wouldnt be centered as dagger mounts were always lower. Apart from that i think its worth a plunge. Just goes to prove there are deals out there. Just to confirm i have a lokfast mount you can have for this 12x8 drum.

No doubt you do a good job. It’s good that you noticed that. I might not even modify it, I will just use a snare stand for it. I will take this one for now and continue the search, because I might not find what I am looking for exactly, so at least I will have this.

Ive bought the 3 premier toms. Bit of a blind buy so as you want the 12x8 ill send you pics first and if you dont like it i dont mind you not buying. just gotta sort a pick up time with seller. C what else he might have hiding around his gaff. Did similar thing couple yrs back and walked out with more drums and quality cymbals. As promised JH the 12x8 is yours unless you say no.........Thx sean

Awesome, thanks Sean. Please send me pictures once you have it. I noticed in the pictures some of the rods and the wing nut on the tom mount are rusty, would you mind switching them with cleaner ones from the 14” maybe?

Sean, I saw the pictures you sent me after cleaning up and assembling the drum and I replied to you to the same email thread we had going on but I haven’t heard back from you.
