WTB: ‘70s Premier 12x8 tom in original black wrap

Loading...

As the title says I am looking for a 12x8 vintage Premier tom in its original black wrap and single center lug. I want it to have the 70’s tom mount, 70s badge and die cast hoops. I assume since it will be from 70s it will be most likely in international size.

I have attached the picture of the 13x9 here for your reference, I want the 12x8 of this exact tom.

Please contact me if you have it or if you find/see it anywhere.

Hello JH

just seen these premier toms on ebay UK. The seller knows nothing about drums. From looking at them they are 16x16 14x8 and 12x8. The guy wants £119. The two top toms have the dagger mounts. They also have the mahogany shells so id date em about 73-74.

Just checked the guy out he lives 27 miles away. Also i have a premier mount same as yours on 13x9 that you could put on the 12x8. I know there might be a small hole but sure you could sort it out. I have a couple of guys in the USA plus one guy in canada that i buy and ship gear to. I think these three toms look good and straight plus its a buy it now so no messing with an auction. Give me some input but dont take forever as these drums wont hang around at this price......sean

Ive just asked the guy for a price drop. His price in my books is reasonable. If it were from a guy like me or another dealer then that price would be a lot higher. The 12x8 is international as it has an evans head on it. Plus with it being black then putting a lokfast fitting on the drum is easy to disguise. Ill leave it with you..sean

Hey Sean,

I would ideally want one with the 70’s mount but if the price is good I will take the 12x8. I don’t need the rest of the drums since I have the 16x16 floor tom and I have no use for the 14x8. Please let me know.

Will he ship to the US? Sellers from Uk don’t ship to US usually.

Can you please send me the Uk ebay link to the ad? I cannot find this ad on Uk ebay.

eBay item number:

202757451966

This guy will only sell as a lot. He wont ship its a pick up only. So basically its me doing the leg work buying them then id be shipping you a 12x8 tom. I do this a lot. These drums are hard to find on ebay as its a bad advert these are the deals i find and snap them up. All i require from you is the price of what you think the drum is worth. Then shipping will be on top and im a very reasonable guy.

Ok Sean, thanks for doing this. Please let me know the total price of the 12x8 tom plus the shipping.

It will also be great if you somehow check the condition although from the pictures it looks clean, hopefully no lifted wrap or something.
