Slingerland snare info please

Hi,

I have Slingerland Snare . Can any one tell me what year, model etc.... I was told it was a Buddy Rich Model...but I can't find anything to confirm or deny this.

Thank you s/n is 22279 its 14 x 5

White Marine Pearl. Immaculate condition.

Any sugestions at its approx value.

I squint my eyes real tight and the pics look smaller. Or. You could do a save as in your software and try adjusting the variables. Let me know if that doesn't work. Thanks.

Looking at our cat scans in the Drum Guide, I'm thinking a '71 Hollywood Ace.

The serial numbers reset in '70, which seems to go with that badge... Rapid Strainer... 8 lugs....

Not a Buddy, it came with a Zoomatic strainer.

That's what I see, but there are many here with a lot more knowledge...

Let's see what some of them have to say.

I don't mind its not a BR snare I have purchased 2 on Ebay ( this being one of them ) claiming to be BR snare,,, but I don't because this drum is amazing as a vintage drum its the best sounding snare I have for a wooden snare....

I have metal snare I love also.... but at the end of the day this is the one I treasure most. thank you for your input. Bruceflowers2 Bowing
