Cool looking drum! I'm curious: what features make this Radio King a Hollywood Ace?
Here's a picture from the 1941 Catalog showing the Hollywood Ace. You can compare it to the Gene Krupa Radio King and see the differences. Besides the lug configuration, it also appears that the snare wires on the Krupa RK are held on by string, rather than by the metal strips of the Hollywood Ace.

That is a keen observation. Did you also notice the Krupa RK has a different hardware layout. It is left to right; badge/throw off/tone control whereas the Hollywood Ace RK is badge/tone control/throw off. I believe the image used for the Krupa RK is re-used from earlier catalogs and is not entirely accurate for 1940 and later. Beginning in '40 the Krupa RK would have had the tin strap snares just like the Hollywood Ace RK. It appears to me that the only difference between these two models is the lugs; "streamline" lugs on the Krupa and the then new "small beaver tails" on the Hollywood Ace.
