Slingerland TDR Snare Drum

Loading...

Here's a 6.5x14 Buddy Rich Slingerland TDR snare in a black chrome finish. It's missing the extension that attaches to the throwoff, but the butt plate extension is present. It has the 5ply shell and ten lugs.

$300 shipped.

Thanks.

There's a big thread about the greed of sellers and over-priced gear. Look at this and then tell me why my snare hasn't sold already.

The reverb drum is overpriced although maybe not “greedy”. It is missing the extended snares which is part of the sound of these drums so to get its fullest potential that needs to be updated. People don’t know how great these drums sound. Talk about a “sleeper”! These TDR’s are a prime example of that!

Yes I picked up a TDR with 10 lugs, chrome wrap over 5 ply for 90 dollars shipped on an auction site. Was going to resell it but it sounds really nice so I decided to keep it. They are nice, but the TDR throwoff is a little touchy.

That snare on Reverb sold for $550 plus shipping, if it was overpriced it wouldn't had sold. I also saw a 5x14., in same finish that sold for $400.

This one says it's a 6.5x14, but it looks like a 5x14. It sold for $400 plus shipping. I'm baffled why no one has jumped on mine. I know it's missing extension on throwoff and correct wires, but I think I have it priced accordingly.
