From Kenwood

The seller has had too many tire kickers and has lost his patience for inquiriesthey are beautiful and priced very reasonably but by the time I came along his demeanor was short and not at all friendly in fact he was a bully regrettably I finally had to tell him what to do with his drumsNow I do not doubt for a second that this seller started off much nicerbut like I say, at this point he is selling those drums the same way the soup Nazi sells soup That aside, I would still suggest that one of you earlier respondents give the guy his four bills and get those babies

Ken,

Sorry to hear of your plight with this seller...Don`t you already have a set in this wrap?

Cheers

The seller texted me before telling me he had three other people interested. I just said thanks, I'll consider them and that was that. Truth is, it's a rare finish, but it doesn't knock me out. He was also unwilling to meet me halfway on the road, so I would have to drive to the Albany area. Just not sure, plus it's a 20" kick.

Hello grantro

Yes they are the thick shelled Sonor clones rather Slingerland

but they are not as mint as this kit

I have a friend who really likes mine so I inquired

The seller told me before I asked

that he was firm at four hundred and that I was fourth in line,

I told him no sweat and that he could call me should things fall through

with those other folks before me.

Things went south in a hurry from there.

Well, I'm going to pass on them. I don't want them that badly anyway. If I get another MIJ set, it's got to be some other rare finish. Not a big fan of gold drums. Got my eyes on a Leban set in my area in a red and grey swirl finish in the correct sizes: 13/16/22/14 snare.

I am the guy selling them.

I have been contacted by nut case tire kickers that get there panties all in a bundle !! Guy names KELLER SLATER calling me a ****ing Idiot because I work 3 jobs and cant get to my storage to take close ups of the badge … I politely told him that before he responded in the most immature way , swearing / name calling / making copies of my post of craigslist HAHA , what a JOKE . To the last guy here who I offended and told me to shove my drums up my ass... you called me to buy drums , I answered every question you have ,then 10 minutes later you tell me to call you in 2 weeks after I dealt with everyone else ??? Its first come first serve im not chasing anyone down to sell them, you lost your cool not me. you have to understand I work 3 jobs and the drums are worth every penny , I just want to sell them , that is all .

All I asked after your 10 questions , DO You want to buy them , in which you tell me to shove them??? Anyone here would be at the wits end , I don't need the money I just want to pass them on to someone who will appreciate them and USE them . Is that too much to ask?

Hello theBasket

Our call was less than two minutes and you answered a few questions each with increasing impatience

among them was "Did you still have the drums? "

this may seem like a stupid question but for an ad that is a few days old, for a cool looking mij kit that is mint

it is a valid question ..but even if my questions were not valid you can't treat a buyer with distain and impatience. It was clear someone wound you up before I came along

I mean you were so rude and high pressure with me

that I was hesitant to even ask any details like possible shipping and the like.

You gave me no room to do anything but tell you to shove those beautiful drums

As for price I believed you had the drums priced to sell right along

And there was no mention whatsoever about "call me in two weeks"

What I did say was call me if things fall through with those others in front of me.

A. because I knew I was late to the party (fourth in line) in terms of a few other members here having shown some form of interest with you.

And B.they were actually intended as parting words

it was simply a nicer way to go , rather the route I eventually took

after being received they way I had been

DO YOU WANT TO BUY THEM OR NOT? is not a very effective closing method to any buyer with an ounce of self respect

Yes I had serious interest. Ask around I buy tons of these little kits for my collection. And when I make a deal I pay right up but if a seller feels too overworked to field some questions politely no matter weather they were valid or seemingly silly . Then I can't use them no matter how much I like them.

Finally, I think you can see by my earlier comments that after speaking with you, I came on here with comments that were not entirely negative ..Hey man sorry for my part in this ....But You may indeed be working a little too hard....Best going forward Kenwood
