IF THIS IS A "NICE" FIND, WHAT WOULD IT TAKE FOR YOU TO GET REALLY EXCITED?

Although I don't like metal snares nearly as much as wood shell snare drum, my Blackro sounds very wood-like. They are plentiful and priced within reach. Here's one on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ludwig-5-x14-Acrolite-Blacrolite-Snare-Drum-International-Shipping-Welcome/202663105750?epid=16018030941&hash=item2f2fa994d6:g:SjEAAOSwp~VclnAd&frcectupt=true

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Really neat kit! My favorite color scheme for Vistalites.

Stop stringing and tuning your instrument, make music now.

What a find, all I ever get is a sore back when people move. There is also one posted on Reverb at $387 +$28 shippinghttps://reverb.com/item/16461684-ludwig-snare-black-white-swirlMichael

I'm with you regarding the "sore back", Michael (lol). Thanks for the heads up on the Reverb listing. I'll pass it along to my friend!

Both of the large cymbals are '70s Zildjians with the hollow logo. One of them is cracked.

175 is a lot for an blacrolite.

On goodwill site there is currently 5 accrolites one is gold badge 60s sn 363170 at $150. two are B/O pointy badges earlier has sn 898799 going for $126 auction closes in 10 hrs other is similar 1820791 bit has 1cent shipping so that's nice and it is also $126

4th is B/O round badge currently at $66 dollars

and 5th is blacrolite with bag and stand at $51 dollars with 2 days left on auction.

All are in really nice shape with no visible pitting or scratches.

That site has acrolites showing up every week.

That's exactly what I thought, Jeff! It seems that "what we've got here is a failure to communicate" among the movers.

I wonder what's going to happen when the previous home owner finally unloads the moving truck, starts unpacking, and then says, "Hey, where the hell are my drums?".

Mike: My wife and I were discussing the exact scenario just the other day. If that happens, it certainly isn't going to be "pretty", is it?
