Slingerland ID

Loading...

Hello again folks.

I found a an older thread on here about a 6 lug Slingerland snare drum with no muffler. The picture links no longer work.

I picked this lady up on eBay this weekend.

Any help on identifying it would be appreciated.

I had read before that some did not come with the muffler installed.

There are no extra holes on the drum.

These are the seller's picture and I can certainly upload more later if need be.

Thanks,

From vintagemore2000

Thank you vintagemore2000 for the quick response!

I thought it was that model but was thrown off by the no muffler.

It has the original plastic heads on it.

Any thoughts on muffler situation or was that the standard for a 64?

I'm guessing that the internal tone control (muffler) was an option similar to a right hand side view mirror on many new cars of the period.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Thanks you leedybdp.

I've checked the drum for damage or any holes or modifications and I can detect none.

I appreciate the feedback.

I'm happy she is in my family now!
