1966 is correct, but I have a Modern Solo Outfit stamped March 1966 on the floor tom, and all toms have the copper script badge.
My modern solo set has all drums stamped Feb 1966, and the toms do not have vents or badges.

Not to be conflictive; I have a 8x12 tom with a chicago badge that is stamped 1962. I suspect that simply when the shell was made, but with that said the bass has a niles no serial badge; also stamped 1962. Kind of interesting.
A '62 drum wouldn't have a Chicago badge, and a '62 tom would have no badge. Sounds like the badge was added, but you never know...
Yes, I have notes on your kit (from a previous thread) as there are some interesting anomalies. The 8x12 rack tom has a serial number consistent with a late '66/early '67 build date. The 9x13 rack tom has a serial consistent with a '67 build date. Neither of these drums has a date stamp. Both toms have the "weak milk chocolate" stain which Dr CJ Wenk says started in Oct. '66. It makes sense that these two toms have badges as indications are that these are post June '66 drums. The 16x16 floor tom is puzzling. It has a date stamp of March '66 yet the serial number is one which is normally associated with '65. Even more strange is that this drum also has the "weak chocolate milk" stain which didn't start until Oct. '66. Slingerland date stamped the shells when they were formed. Wrapping and assembly occurred later. Is it possible a March '66 shell was not assembled until June or even October of '66? Sure. Is it possible a '66 drum could have a serial normally associated with '65? Yes.
Wow, I didn't realize you had such copious notes on them. Thanks so much for sharing! They are still for sale by the way. I'm thinking about possibly taking them up to the Chicago Show this year.

One detail I couldn't see: Does the badge grommet on the floor tom appear original and unmolested?
Does the grommet look OK on the inside as well? That is usually where you'll notice signs of tampering. A picture of the date stamp would be interesting also. Thanks.
