Hi all

I am contemplating a trade involving (my) Roland electronic kit and a Rogers blue onyx wrap kit (13/14/18/24).

The Rogers originally had the SwivoMatic hardware, and changed over to the Memri-Loc hardware, which had to be re-drilled, so there are extra holes.

Bass drum doesn't have a badge and the vent hole is near the bottom of the drum. It's 14" deep

Floor tom has a long crack in the wrap, has the original Swivo mounts/hex legs. This also doesn't appear to have a badge.

One of the ride toms has the Holiday badge inside, the other has the Fullerton 9/72 badge inside. One of these has some rash on the wrap (don't know which one, have only seen pics of this set)

Powertone snare has the Dayton badge inside but has a nice dent in the side of the snare, and no snare wires or top hoop.

All of the drums have the gray speckled interior, and re-rings. 5 ply?? Two of the drums are missing the internal mufflers.

The trade is the 5 pcs, plus cymbals (4 Zildjian mostly A, all but one have a small crack or two) A few Rogers Swivo stands and old Rogers hi hat stand and bass drum pedal. Plus a Ludwig Supraphonic 6.5 x 14 chrome snare. Badge is B/O and says Ludwig USA (no trademark symbol) S/N is 790583. Would also throw in some cash, I was thinking of asking for $300.

My set is a Roland TD 20 with upgraded TD 30 module and the upgraded 3 zone metallic gray cymbals and hi hat. All the DW hardware is included the 3000 hh stand and the snare stand, plus a new Iron Cobra BD pedal. But NO speaker.

Questions:I like the Memri-Loc hardware, but should I invest in the proper Swivo hardware? To do it right all drums would have to be re-wrapped (bummer!!) and all holes plugged (every drum has holes except the FT, and that wrap is cracked). This would be a lot of work and money.

I'm a Slingerland man and don't have a lot of experience with Rogers or Ludwig. Don't know much about Supraphonic snares either. Take a look at the pics below. I have several more, but can only post so many. Any help/input would be much appreciated..Thanks!

Aren't those Roland kits pricey? I would sell it and buy a nice, original kit.
