We have an Aussie member here that was bit by the drum bug. I forget who. From what I seen and heard they are quality builds.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

You might be thinking of TroutStudio

but there are other Aussies who have them as well. Search the whole site for Drouyn using the search function and you will find quite a bit.

these are awesome snares, talked of as the "aussie supraphonic", made in brisbane. theres a few articles on the net, maybe on notsomoderndrummer even had an analysis and history of this

snare model.

probably only a pretty niche market willing to pay top dollar as Ludwig vintage snares have a lot broader fan base. These pop up cheap occasionally and are snapped up quick, if you wanted to sell i'd recommend that rather than asking a bigger price and dealing with people haggling for months

Yes as said.. I think it's the S100 Ludwig supra equivalent. not sure about that throw though.. Look up Pauls (troutsounds) web page... He's a Drouyn collector in Sydney..

Yes that's an S100. Drouyn copied the Supra. Sounds a little bit different though. I wish I could find the wood version. You've done well, because mostly the chrome is long gone from those drums. Easy to setup, sounds like an alloy snare. Great for funk, imo. I made a video on those two snare drums. I should do it again and remove the music. Here's a recent one of the whole kit though:[ame]https://youtu.be/EyVBAXYx2Vk[/ame]
