I'm about to replace all the tension rods washers on my Roger Holiday. What is the opinion of the fellow re-builder metal or nylon ?

Metal all the way just like original . What is wrong with the ones on it now ?
Warning ... Avoid member statuscymbal here, vintage_collector on DFO , and americanpatriot10 on eBay. Email me for his name. All are the same shady guy who has burned me and a list of other members on both boards . He is also selling on Facebook too ..

+1 with the above! Also, Rogers washers have a unique physical appearance. Generic washers are way too big! However, if that's not important to you, they will certainly be cheaper. JP2 Creations offers Rogers-style washers, but it can get expensive to do a complete kit. Still, if authenticity is important, that's what I'd go with. Just go here... http://www.jp2creations.com/ and go to PARTS, then Tension Rod Washers. I've ordered these before and they're as close as you'll get to factory Rogers washers!
