I got this with a 60's kit, but I do see the badge is silver not brass, I will check the date on the inside & post a pic tomorrow.

No date stamp, The serial number is 36931. So is this 60's or 70's?

Black/silver badge with 5-digit serial is early 70's. '71 is most likely for 36xxx.

Looks like its a 71 as the serial number is 36931 and there is no date stamp inside. Thanks for the help identifying this.

No problem. Beige stained interior verifies a pre '72 build. J-hook muffler is correct. Looks like a pretty nice drum, GLWS.
