What is this cymbal?

Hey all,

Here's a cymbal I got recently. It's B20 14" (more or less)

Weight is about 1010 grams and there's a grommet in the center hole. It also has rivet holes.

This was purchased from the UK.

There are no stamps on the cymbal and it's a little off balance. It leans heavily to one side while on the stand. It sounds great for a cymbal of this weight. Very dark, mellow.

Any idea what it might be?

Thanks in advance for any information.

That's hi-hat/marching weight for sure. Those rivet holes are endearingly and haphazardly DIY.

What are you using it for? Probably too heavy for a true crash. Might be a cool effect cymbal if you put a few rivets in it, or a cool bottom hi-hat (with or without rivets). If it's slightly over/under 14", so much the better. Eliminates air-lock because it's slightly smaller/larger than the cymbal it's paired with, so more air can escape where the cymbals "don't meet".

Thanks for the reply. I've been using it as a bottom hat, but it's surprisingly nice as a top hat too. It's quite low pitched and mellow. I wish it wasn't a leaner though. It tends to tip to one side.
