There's a cymbal for sale on eBay called a "Star Sound". I have never heard of this make but, because I collect vintage Star drums, I am quite curious if there is a connection. I doubt it but, there's always a chance. I've tried researching but, to no avail. Thanks!

I see some cymbals in the '66 catalog. But they are listed as King's Stone models. I did find a Star font in that catalog that looked much like that on the cymbal however.

You're so right, Mike! Thank you. I contacted the seller but, he really doesn't know anything. It was certainly good of him to reply though. I saw the King's Stone cymbals but, was really struck by how much the logo on the eBay cymbal resembled a vintage Star drum logo! A copy? Coincidence? I'm very curious. Thanks again, Mike. Hopefully, others will chime in.
