It Ain't Vintage, but it's BAD to the bone!

truth of the matter is that it will play amazing right out of the box.

you will say that its just fine. i bought an eliminator when they came

out because my friends who work at the drum shop used one and it

makes work easier for us as we age. that's what these pedals do.

brought it home played around with it changed all the cams and

realized that the set up in the box from the factory was just perfect.

if all the pedals that the drum companies were so great why did

billy cobham jeff oagletree (misspelling my bad) make pedals

themselves that forced drum companies do better. as for the

speed king at the drum shop i was talking about above i'm

standing there when customer brought new a speedking back

because pin holding foot board fell out. this pedal was the same

price as the pearl i bought that day. i went back to pick up a

cymbal a few days later and the replacement pedal came in.

this thing had more problems then the return. it was there

that i decided that if i ever buy ludwig drums again that it

will have all yamaha and dw hardware. my bud bought a

top of the line ludwig snare drum last year. paid 600 for it.

i see him at a gig last week and lend him mine as i was just coming

from mine and had it in car. reason butt was broken and is

on back order leaving him with no drum for a few weeks.

I've been using Ludwig hardware (both new and vintage) for years and have never had any major issues with it or their drums. Maybe these people are ABUSING them causing these failures. You say the replacement speed king had more problems than the original one that was being replaced, but you didn't get into specifics. I'd like to hear specifics as I've owned a couple of the newer ones in recent times, and again, have had no issues.
