Made in Denmark, Sweden....eh?

huh..never heard of that city....DOH

It's a Paiste for sure, looks like maybe a 505. Kinda dumb listing...hell, the model number is right there on the cymbal ! Just too far away to make out in the pic.

Honestly, for $50...GRAB IT ! Worst-case scenario it's a 404, not a bad B8 cymbal at all....which still would have a market value of $85.

Sorry to chime in late. Definitely 505 by the hammering and worth it. Did you get it?

Hi, It's a 404. I called as soon as I saw it listed. The owner tells me it was made in Sweden... Anyway, 60 was the price with shipping and if you just like to collect things, why not? Oh, I know, there's a nicer one at Music go round for 39.99.

Good luck

I didn't get the cymbal because I was hoping it was vintage. I'm new to Paiste so I wanted to be sure. If it was local I may have at least took a look at it.

404's and 505's are vintage...they are from the 70's I think.....

I can guarantee you it doesn't say Made in Sweden...but what the hey, we Ameeeerercans ain't too good with that ge-o-gra-fy stuff these days, are we ?

404's aren't bad cymbals as long as you ain't a headbanger. They are better B8's than most contemporary B8 lines... and whether $50, $60, or $39.99....that's still a good deal.

Wow, there you go...my eyes deceive me. I thought 5o5 because I own several of them and I thought 4o4's had less dense hammering.....oops!
