I don't know either Purdie or Verminator but only here as invisible men.

As a seller this sort of thing would not be fun. But as a buyer I'd have the same feelings seeing the same kit up elsewhere. Verm's responses sure sound reasonable to me - no offense Purdie.

What sounds like a deal that could have been remedied by keeping one's cool, maybe a bit on both sides, maybe one more than the other, has dipped well into the fuqing trumpian universe of bad feeling.

I'll always stand up for what I see - & I'll no doubt get fuqed for saying it! - but Verminator, a longtime member sure seems to be getting some undeserved $hit here. Could be wrong - I don't know him!!!

This forum has been dying a slow death for me. This is the reason I don't visit much anymore.

Purdie : godspeed on your health and the sale of your kit!

I agree, sharing all the dirty details for all to witness doesn't get the kit sold any faster.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I'm sure that's exactly true, Gary. Look, just giving my 2 cents and hoping that these 2 guys can bury the hatchet.

I'm not immune, as many well know, from getting testy. BUT Verminator got the jitters and what's wrong with that. Happens all the time. That's exactly why I don't sell here at all. ebay + Reverb are a $hitload more secure than the honor system here.

Well stated Hobbs. An unfortunate misunderstanding. Don't know either member but Verminator was extremely helpful to me some years ago, OK in my book.

Anybody who wants to buy the kit can take advantage of their buyer protection features. No more excuses for paranoia... :D
