61' Ludwig Sky Blue Pearl (Pre-serial Keystone)

Blah, blah, blah... if you want the drums money talks BS walks. When I see $ we'll have a deal not before. The username over at ebay is my son... James Velez who was only trying to do the old man a favor by helping me to sell the drums. James knows I don't have an ebay account or use Paypal. You ''assume'' too much. My son has a 100% customer satisfaction record for well over 100 transactions on ebay. Either way, through me, or my son there was no way you were going to get burned.

In the meantime... these drums are still for sale. Any interested people pm me here through the forum. Don't procrastinate these are going to go fast. Some folks wouldn't see a great deal if it hit them square in the face. Price and condition... this kit has it all.

Go for it... https://reading.craigslist.org/msg/d/1961-ludwig-pre-serial-number/6699964504.html

Me too. I hate being told I have a deal and then having the same person flake out and cancel 24 hours later. Especially over BS he made up in his own head. Frustrating. I'm not at all worried, this kit is pure gold and the right guy for them will show up. Whoever gets them is going to be a very happy camper - these puppies are in amazingly well preserved condition for a 60 year-old set of drums. 3-ply clear maple... doesn't get much better than that.

Getting a few bites already, fingers crossed.

Gary - Thanks for the very kind words. I wish there was another way. I've got reality staring me in the face and I'm left with few choices. Not everybody knows me the way you and some of the older members do. We've all done a bunch of transactions with each other over the years and I've gotten to the point with some guys where I ship the goods before I even get paid. When you're dealing with people you trust you can do stuff like that. This guy verminator got all paranoid that I was a scammer and acted accordingly. His loss...

The kit will find a good home where it will be played and appreciated it's just a matter of time and connecting with the right guy. This is an awesome kit that I have loved and taken good care of for many years. I want it to go to somebody who is going to love it as much as I do and not be a nervous wreck during the transaction. I like doing transactions where everybody walks away with a big smile on their face. That's why I priced the kit the way I did. I want the next owner to feel like they scored. The same way I felt when I bought them.

You're a good old friend Gary. You and bunch of other guys are the reason why I love VDF. Let's hope this bugger sells and soon. I have a couple of tire kickers looking now. Dialysis is saving my life, but it's expensive. I'm just waiting for one of them to plunk cash on the table. :D

Wow, some things never change...

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

Gary - He's always spoiling for negative attention. Don't give it to him... it's what he wants.
