All of the Rob Cook books are great, I have the Ludwig and Slingerland books and refer them quite often. Have never actually read the entire book yet but the stuff I have read is great.

Thank you!

I have the Ludwig, Rogers and Slingerland books (both versions of Slingerland) and they are excellent! Anyone into vintage US drums should have these!

I read the Rogers book from cover to cover. Found it fascinating, even the biographies and profiles on all the big names behind the company. For $30, it's an invaluable resource for any Rogers owner. All of Cook's books are great.

I don't think you read all the post, I asked a few questions and was told to buy a book. I was always under the impression that this forum was suppose to be a place to gain knowledge, but instead, I'm redirected to another source to obtain that knowledge.

How about you bugger off and go suck on a lime.Walking

If you used the search function I'm sure you'd have found your answers buried in the forum somewhere here, as they have been asked many, many, many times over the years. Plus the main website has that info on it too. The short answer to read the book was because people are tired of answering the same questions over and over, and some are tired of reading basically the same questions over and over as well. All the info you seek about Rogers is in the book. Same with Ludwig and Slingerland. All you need to do is sit down with a copy and you'll know what others who've read the book also know. :D
