I used a 24" Beverly medium ride for a few years in the 80's with a rock band- held it's own but was lacking in 'ping' bell and wash- worked okay for the old school rock of the time... thing's always change!!!

...you got me remembering the past so as I packed up for this weekend's gigs I searched out the old hard case with the Beverly in it.... played it a bit- brought back memories of the 70's jams I did ( like Into the Sun by Grand Funk!)... It is 24inches but lighter than I thought - maybe 1739 grams by my crappy scale... it washes on forever!... no bell definition at all however- almost gong like but 'fills the space'! Enjoy yours!
