Hi, everybody! I've biught a 14x5, steel, 10-lug Ludwig snare drum and just wanted to clarify a few things... The badge (816440) is Black and White, rounded corners, there's a box around serial number and it doesn't say USA. I checked some sites, but the information is contradictory. Could you, please, help me out? Approx. year, country (USA or Taiwan), is it LM300? Thank you!!!

Yes, it's the MIT (Taiwan) LM300 snare drum. I don't recall exactly when they came out. Steel shell with center bead and 10 Acrolite lugs. A good working strainer. They could have picked a better knob for the muffler, as it just doesn't go with the "Ludwig" theme! I believe the hoops are 2.0mm. It's your typical MIT steel shell, but made to look like a Supra or Acrolite. I've heard YouTube videos and they can sound quite good. Hope you got it for a good price! Tune it up and enjoy!

Thanks for making it clear! It sounds OK and it was for a reasonable price. Ant the knob... But, overall, it's very well-made. Thanks again for your help!
