Oldschool the bass and toms look to be Star made thick shells with grey painted interiors and the Sonor tear drop cloned hardware

Thanks for the input! I got the entire kit for free today. I thought they were red sparkle but it turns out that they actually have a redwood stain finish. The mount on the rack tom states "MADE IN JAPAN" and the interiors on all of the drums are painted grey. It looks like you're probably correct regarding the "Star" brand. I attached a few pics of the rack tom. I think the kit should clean up nicely.

Thanks! I just got done cleaning up one of the rack toms. Here's a few pics. I'm hoping I'll be able to find some STAR badges for the 12, 16 and 20.
