Hey Mark,
I'll answer here anyway : I have a 60's Ludwig tom that had moisture damage that softened part of the layers of wood AT LEAST around a portion of the bearing edge. PURDIE SHUFFLE advised that I glue plies together + then to add the RONSEAL to harden this portion of the bearing edge. I need a very small amount of this stuff not an entire container which is very expensive since it's a U.K. product.
