Jay's kit has tension rods top and bottom. It's the tacked heads I was referring to as being the biggest detriment to the kit's playability.

I would love to see both a complete Rolling Bomber and Ludwig Victory kit in a WW2 museum. Owning one ( if I ever had the honor ) I would certainly loan it out. Such a small piece of drumming history, but a piece to a much larger world history. And something many know nothing about.

The craftsman ship to make these kits 100% functional is incredible.

Do you know how to get in touch with the person that had it for sale? I know it was a long time ago.

I'm circling back around. Does anyone have a recollection of who was selling this set? I know the set was purchased, the buyer doesn't have a record of the seller, and I'd like to contact the seller about the bass drum pedal. Please help me if you can.
