Kit ID?

Anyone have an idea what brand of drums these might be and the approximate age? I'm guessing '60s MIJ? Any "words of wisdom" would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The snare is a 1990s/2000s Indonesia-made Yamaha. Actually a very nice drum, I have it and love the sound.

As for the kit, I have no idea. Looks European to me, but the tom mount is American style, thus possibly an MIJ knockoff.

Do you believe that the shells have wooden reinforcement rings? Thanks!

I wonder if they might be Hoshino, the tom mount definitely looks familiar?

I agree w/Kenwood on these. First design Teardrop lug, probably around 1970. Star built, maybe Apollo.

Thanks! Any idea what a reasonable offer might be for this kit in its current "as is" condition?

$250.00-$300.00 w the snare $200-$250 without

if they check out to be in decent shape

red sparkle is fairly common but still popular

especially for someone who remembers having some MIJ drums in that color as their first kit

no other color will do for them

same goes for blue sparkle kits they are everywhere because they sold very well back in the day
