I have a strong suspicion that he's one of the many educated phenoms out there that just lost touch with the concept of Place Value. Maybe he meant "1,000.00".

I'd definitely pay the $10,000.00 but, unfortunately, I've got enough trouble playing my 4-piece kit!

He turned down my offer so I counter offered with $1.50! LOL! I also sent him an email telling him that 10k for a set that was worth $1200 NEW, not used, was just as unreasonable as my offer of $1.00 I doubt the guy will get the hint, but I doubt anybody is actually dumb enough to buy it for what he wants either. Is it me or are people getting more and more stupid by the minute? :confused::rolleyes:
