Nice job on the snare re-fit of your Trixon, and yes, NO HOLES were drilled... excellent! I do have to make one comment though:
The stock Trixon throw/snare set-up works perfectly when installed correctly and isn't completely mangled or stretched out of shape. The parallel system and snares function flawlessly and sound excellent on mine, but as I have mentioned, I had to work on it and essentially rebuild it for proper function/sound.
Almost all the Trixon snare drums representing this particular model seem to have issues with the snares and parallel throw-off system... and from what I have been able to asertain, over time, the snares have been way over-tensioned, leading to stretch, wire pull out, and torque issues. It's difficult to find one that is complete and functions as intended, as mine is and does. What happened to yours seems to be the norm.
Again, nice job!... and yet another drum preserved... and played!
