Drum Keys / Wrenches Wanted!

Loading...

I'm always on the hunt for good deals on drum keys / drum wrenches to add to my approx 300 key/wrench collection (plus many various new and vintage duplicates)... looking for interesting keys (except those of current manufacture commonly available such as on Amazon, Musicians Friends etc.).

Some particular models of interest include those more readily available in Europe, "anniversary editions" of keys, and vintage keys, particularly Camco, Fibes, Arbiter, Gambal/Grover, Hayman, Gladstone, Leedy, Leedy & Ludwig, John Grey, Vox, North, Trixon, older Sonor, really old Ludwig, early cast keys and branded keys from custom drum builders. I'm also interested in tuning keys/wrenches for world drums.

If you have something you'd consider selling, let me know what you've got!

Thanks!

I have early Leedy, Ludwig and Slingerland (Radio King) keys also 60's Rogers and maybe Gretsch. Also 70s Ludwig. I have many vintage Ludwig rail consollette wrenches and 1-2 Gretsch. Plus tons of other vintage drums, cymbals, heads, stands, pedals and parts. If interested please email me directly at: drums@bellsouth.net

I have a Slingerland lever style (baseballbat?) drum key.

As long as we're revisiting this thread and topic, I'd like to know more about this particular key from you Slingy experts. I have one of these also, and I've always wondered about its origin. Was this the standard tuning key that came with Slingerland sets, or was it an accessory purchased separately? What period is it from?

Just curious,

Mike
