Here they are again, the darn flash on the camera makes them look more yellowed than they are.DOH

That C&C sounded great, but nothing beats the real deal. I absolutely love the 3ply mahogany shell.

Heh, does anyone have a secret to getting the rail mount and arm angled at a better position? I turned the clock up-side down so the clip is on the bottom, that helped lower the tom a little, but its still a little too angled towards me and if I set it down a notch, it's too far angled the other way. It's not bad the way it is, but if I can figure out a way to fine tune it, that would be great.

Have a look at my 1949/50 WFL Buddy Rich Classic's as they have the same rail consolette. You can see I have my "L" with the clip situated differently in the mount. That might help get yours in a better position. NICE drums by the way! ... and perhaps you'll keep 'em this time! :)

I took a pic of another rail consolette out of my parts .. as I don't have a close up pic .. and set it like the one on my WFL's ... should be easy to see now! I had the "L" with the clip almost all the way in .. and .. at 90 degrees to the mount. Might be a nice starting point for you? Then it was just a matter of determining the best spot on the rail .. and ..moving the drum front and back to aid with height. Worked very well on mine!, and ... you sit high enough where it should work for you! Hope this was of some help!
