John
A criminally underrated performance by John Bonham....[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51jvfaqiNio"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51jvfaqiNio[/ame]
Stuart Copeland credited with "hi-hat" on this one (Jerry Marotta on drums)....

And speaking of Stuart Copeland....

I was going to post the same John . . . Gadd is unreal !
There was an Urban Myth at one time that Gadd came up with the beat by taking one of the lessons from the Haskell Harr Drum method book, turning the book upside down, and playing it.
Gadd later came out to say "Fifty Ways' was just a result of sitting at the drums and playing the Hi-Hat with my left hand. When playing Be-Bop, sometimes the Hi-Hat will play in four, or in different places, rather than just 'two and four'. So 'Fifty Ways' was a result of using the Hi-Hat in different places and using the left hand on the Hi-Hat."
An amazing drummer
Michael
