Looks OK to me.

I see a full address (the screen shot has the tab compressed but the " h t t p://www.vintagedrumforum.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=427340 " info is present, no "Not Secure" message.

Up in the toolbar, the little circle with the ..i... in it, I clicked it and it says not secure, ten cookies in use.

It`s either the Russians, FBI, Putin,..or my wife !!

Indeed! I'll get in touch with "our guy"... and see what's what with that! Course I don't think many of us, if any, enter any sensitive information, ie: Passwords, credit card numbers, etc. Still, let me see what I can do!

I don't think vBulletin has ever supported secure (https or related) protocols. Certainly not at the release VDF is on.

I find it's best to consider anything you type on the internet as being like a postcard. Anybody can read it as it passes through the delivery system. That way you won't be disappointed. ;)

As a computer tech/IT person, I've always noted that logging in to VDF says it's not secure. As Tommyp points out, our forum was never meant for posting sensitive information, and as such, shouldn't pose any issues when used the way it's intended. Still, there are those who may feel better if the site was "secure" by using an HTTPS server. Just not sure how easy this would be to implement. Honestly, I've been using VDF for almost 12 years and have never had a problem!
