I am selling drums for my bass player friend, they are Pearl drums ( see pic) Already sold the bass drum ( the one I was asking about using the old wrap) so all is left is a 16x16 and a 9x13. Question is, the buyer wants to use them as tables, not drums. I know they are not the coolest drums in the world but I would rather see someone use them, there is probably a guy out there that need them. So sell them and be done with it or hold out for person in need, what do you think?
Should I sell ?
Thank you!

Listen to what your conscience is telling you...Since you posted this, I think you know the answer already, Jeff...

If they were really beat up project drums, wrap in shambles, missing hardware,etc... Making tables would be keeping them alive. But to make those into tables is just a sad way for drums to go. What are you asking for those?
Not a Guru, just addicted to drums

Can he wait a week? See if a player bites?...they're pretty sweet.
I have to say the rims on that 13 exemplify the ultimate rim design for me - very close [identical?] to Kent rims, close to Rogers but even tighter ears, nice upper/lower flange-height ratio [tall]... perfection. Maybe swap them out if you sell to the table guy.

Conscience can lie too. It works on the basis of the information given it; the old saying, garbage in, garbage out.
If you still had a complete set it might be different, but I suggest you let them go so as not to be tied down to something that is not currently worth your valuable time. In my view, they aren't valuable enough to waste another moment.
Mitch, if that rim is something you need then i can look for a hoop to swap it with but I dont think I have one.
Dan, your right, problem is he wants me to ship and that take up my precious time also. Im going to ask my bass player fiend if he wants to go through the hassle. It would be nice to get them out of here.
Thank you!

I'm all good Jeff, thanks! Just thought they'd be nice for you to have around for a project kit. And if the table-maker didn't use em and threw them out...ouch! :)
