So I decided to re-wrap my Slingerland red satin flame 14 and 20 to match my sky blue pearl tom I bought off Reverb. My original plan was to buy a 12 and re-wrap it in red satin flame to match the other two. But, when the sbp tom arrived, it was just too darn nice to remove the wrap, so since the red satin flame kick was in such bad shape I decided to go the other way. It cost a bit more, but sbp is so much cooler. I soaked all the hardware overnight in Wd-40, then I used dish soap with warm water and cleaned the hardware with an old toothbrush. Here's the 14x14. I'll have the whole kit up after doing the kick. I'm using wrap from JS with the tape method, I got the wrap on tight and it sounds as good as it did before the re-wrap.
Now, off to the kick.
