Thanks all! This set really sounds fantastic. Those 50's shells are the best.
Anybody got a Leedy kit in Peacock Sparkle for sale? (had to ask)LoLoLoLo
I'd also like to find one in Fiesta Pearl if anyone has one for sale.
Mark, I don't know how I missed seeing these! Truly a Classic drum kit in every sense of the word. I love the aging on the WMP and those Leedy lugs. Nice score man.

Thanks John! Took quite a while to find the FT. I'm a sucker for those Leedy lugs! Just love this era of Leedys even though made by Slingerland.
Slingerland made some fine drums in those days. I will never figure out why they don't command the same price as Ludwig, or Gretch kits from the same era. The only drums they produced that get any real respect in the marketplace is Radio Kings and your Slingy/Leedy's. You bought a really sweet set of drums brother. Enjoy them.

Yeah, I don't get it either but that will hopefully change down the road.
For now, if I find em, I buy em!
