How did I miss this thread when it first started? I have owned three great Walberg and

Auge drum sets. I sold off my 1972 Ice Blue Glitter set configured with two 8x2 toms, 16x16 floor tom, 14x22 bass drum, matching snare drum. It was just too large and too new to remain as a keeper when I downsized my collection. My Gold Glass Glitter 1963 W&A set configured 8x12, 16 deep x 14 diameter, 14x20. My other 1963 W&A set is one that I've owned twice. It came to me in it's original Salmon Satin Flame wrap. I got tired of the beat to sh_t wrap, and traded it to a great vintage drum shop. A couple of years later, the shop and I reversed the trade. I had Bum Wraps custom make a green/silver/green simulation Duco wrap that I installed on the 8x12, 16x16, and 14x20. I also have acquired two great W&A 5x14 snare drums. One is Champagne Sparkle. The other is in the rare Purple Diamond Pearl. OK...there's not enough room to post a picture of the Champagne Sparkle snare. But, I think that we all can visualize it.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Howie, I'll take that purple pearl snare off your hands someday if you decide to cut it loose.

Love ya Bob. I would have to be desperate for some special drum(s) to part with that little gem. But, you are duly noted as lusting for it if I ever go (more) crazy, and decide to part with it.

Howie - What a collection!!! CT - Really nice snare collection! Some classy and I'm sure great sounding drums there. I'm surprised there aren't more W&A owners among the members here. Top quality drums.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Wow beautiful drums. I thought I read somewhere many moons ago that before Waldberg and Auge made drums they made a lot of the hardware for the big drum companies.

I've been toying with the idea of getting this W&A kit because I love this color sparkle.
