Got the pics & the verbiage:

VINTAGE 1966 GOLD GLITTER FLOOR TOM 12 INCH FLOOR TOM

PLUS BONUS SNARE JUST NEEDS 1 NEW HEAD

THE FLOOR TOM ALONE IS GOING FOR $400 ON EBAY

$XXX OBO

I could tell it wasn't a 12", too many lugs. Turns out it's a 12x14, the legs were added.

From what I see on Vintage Drum Guide, it's a 1955-59 & my guess is that it was a marching tom, there's no other holes other than the ones to put the legs on. The wrap is original, easy to see that. The bottom bearing edge just needs a little sanding. The interior is clear, looks like mahoghany. I'll get more pics up tomorrow.

The snare is, to me, junk. I can clean it up & donate it to my local Salvation Army store & write off more I'd get from selling it.

Yes, I am looking to sell the tom, I'd like to get some estimates of it's value.

The floor tom is not a 12x15 by any chance? That wrap snare is actually desirable. Someone here might want a crack at it.

I agree with Mike...Offer up the snare in the For Sale section here...It might be just what someone here is looking for...

The first thing I thought was that one of our MIJ guys would want that snare drum. It has the same strainer and lugs that my LaBoz snare had. Nice wrap.

OK, but I'll clean it up first, it has some problems, like the top hoop being mis-aligned, but that might be the ancient Ludwig Weathermaster with 2 holes in it :D

The snare should be worth at least $25 - $50 if it is operational and not missing any parts. Depends if you need the money or can be a Good Sam and donate it.

Yeah the snare actually looks more interesting than the tom.

I'd be interested in the snare just because it is a bit different. Let me know.
