Anybody got a clue as to model and year?

Looks like an extended snare strainer model ,but I can't find it in any of the online catalogs.

Looks like I can pick this up for a $100 bucks.

From what I can see ,the original snares are missing and are unique to that drum as it looks to be extended on the butt side and not on the throw side.

I've heard them on YouTube and it sounded quite decent.

Any idea of where to source those snares?

'70 - '72 by the badge (5 digit serial?), large muffler knob and wide clasp snare strap retainer. Extended on one side with double straps is the correct arrangement. Expect COS hoops, COB shell. Krupa Sound King model. Looks quite nice.

I detect tampering with the badge. The grommet doesn't look original to me. I've had 1970 and 1971 snare drums and each still had shells with round-over edges and aluminum lug backing plates. I'm not exactly sure when Slingerland changed to sharper 45-degree edges and eliminated the lug backing plates, but I can tell you that SN doesn't jive with the drum.

Badge does look lifted on one side, I noticed the absence of lug backing plates but can't make out the serial number and don't know for sure what year Slingerland stopped using the plates. More info needed. Other features appear correct for early 70's era.

+1 with longjohn and FER428. Era correct Zoomatic and extended butt alone are almost worth the asking price.
