Hello,

I'm looking for vintage snare drums (pre-70s) to restore. Leedy, Slingerland, Ludwig, Camco, Rogers or Gretsch.

Let me know if you have an old snare that needs to be restored or a project you can do.

Thank you

I've got a 14x10 radio king (50s) that has all or most of the hardware and was repainted horribly

I have a 1979 Corder 6.5x14 chrome over maple snare drum with most of the parts that I'm looking to get rid of. Same hardware as the Fibes drums of the 60's and 70's. Missing the throwoff and buttplate and the screws to mount the lugs to the shell. I have everything else. I know you said pre-70's, but it's a fantastic project drum nonetheless.

IN SEARCH OF:
  • 1964-1966 Rogers 9x13 rack tom in silver sparkle. Beavertail lugs, flat grey Cleveland tag interior
  • 1964-1966 Rogers 22 OR 24x14 bass drum in silver sparkle. Beavertail lugs, flat grey Cleveland tag interior
  • 1959 Rogers Holiday 5x14 snare drum in blue sparkle. Serial number #13382. Large double sided bread and butter lugs. Part of my kit that was split up before I purchased it. Bring the snare home!

First of all thank you for all the offers.

In this moment I'm not interested in marching snares or modern ones.

Blair, could you send me pictures of the Ludwig Universal? Thank you
