Help identifying a drum set

Loading...

Hi,

I'm new here, looking to buy a cheap set for my 4YO and get him into drumming. Can someone help me identify who makes this set?

Thanks in advance for your help!

They're just cheap entry level, generic drums. If there is a brand it's irrelevant. Definitely worth the asking price though. :)

Ludwig makes a child-sized kit. Great starter kit and the right size for a four year old. Go to this site and type in: Ludwig, junior outfit. Don't waste your money on that trash kit. You don't want your kid getting frustrated because he has trouble reaching things. The Ludwig kit is sized for him. He won't have to reach for things and his feet will reach the pedals. You want to make it as easy as you can for him while he learns how to use the kit.

This SPL kit is another great little kit for the same price. They are both, the Ludwig and this SPL one, the same price, $299. look up:

Hi motowndrummer... and Welcome to the forum!

As previously stated, it's just an inexpensive, generic set of drums. The price is right and perfect for a beginner. Pick them up and let the bashing begin!

Thanks for the responses everyone! I'm a Ludwig guy myself and these looked like pretty generic 80s/90s style drums, just thought I'd get some feedback :) Possibly sacrilegious question here, but what do you guys think about starting him out on an electric kit? Just thinking about saving eardrums/my wife's sanity, etc...
