T-Rod ID help please

Loading...

Among other mysteries involving my "WFL/ possible W & A" recent purchase (http://vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=60849) is this T-rod that ended up on the kick. I initially thought it was Trixon, but just did a search & it's not. It's made of brass & the flat side of the bullet is unchromed. exposed brass. Anybody recognize this?

I'm going to guess that half the torpedo has been cut off, hence the exposed brass.

It honestly doesn't appear that way. It is perfectly smooth on the bass side & the chrome plating is perfectly flush to the edge. I'll try and take a better pic.

After examining this side by side with a Gretsch t-rod, yes Slingerfan, that's exactly what this is! Another addition to the weirdness surrounding my new drums...

Thanks for your keen eye
