OddBall's advice is good, a ***eler can tell. Gold is not as brassy looking as art-gold. It's golden!

Indeed ... but it's NOT us that does the editing. It's the particular software package that this site uses. I agree with you completely by the way! ... it's STUPID! So, what I do, when I'm writing a word that gets edited, is ... write it anyway! There are ways around it. Here are a couple examples: He ****ed. I mean, He F A R T E D! Bring the drum to a store that sells rings and ***els. I mean, bring the drum to a store that sells rings and J E W E L S. There you go! :)

Why not smash the software and get a new one ? Tell them you dropped it.

Not intended to be of course!, and there are MANY other words that get edited too! My favorite has to be ****!, er F A R T! I mean seriously??!! You might think that the software writers/designers would leave it up to the admin/mods of the particular site to edit IF and WHEN necessary ... but no. They're going to decide for you! Good grief!
