Vintage Gold Sparkle Inlay

In search of a vintage gold sparkle inlay for my 66 gold sparkle Slingerland 20" kick drum. Prefer 60s/70s to match the aged wrap. Thanks.

In the interim until you find some, Dollar General sells some gold sparkle in rolls. It is already the width of many inlays. It also has a self adhesive back on it. Initially, some of the sparkles will kinda fall off after applied. You can actually spray it with clear prior to installing to stop this. It's cheap and will hold you over.

Here it is on my Ludwig Transition badge 12x17 bass drum.

Yes. Off the top of my head...Green,Red and Blue for sure. Some are individual and some come in small assortments. Less than 5 bucks or so If I recall correctly. They even have the same stuff in a roll much larger as far as the width of the stuff. I've toyed with the idea of a banded wrap on a snare.

I have some pre-serial gold sparkle wrap that I salvaged off of a 15" parade snare...plenty to cut your own inlays for sure.

I've got some...and I'll give it for free, but you're going to have to wait until my Christmas break for me to get to it. I'm quite busy. If it's like any of my projects, that time isn't too far off to wait.
