Thanks Dan, I took the pictures with my phone, that's why the pictures aren't the best. I love the sound and feel of 24" kicks, although they are a bit of a pain to transport to gigs.

Finally picked up the Luxor in Blue Onyx I have been looking for!

Once it arrives it will get the full clean and shine! Sorry for the bad picture.

Best of luck finding the stock Luxor rims for that one. What are those cast rims? Gretsch?

Yes hoping to get the snares in at least the "cool" wraps. I love the onyx, strata and Pearl wraps. Have not seen any in the strata wraps ever. The cast rims came with it. I will have to do some hunting to get the stock rims.

Congrats on your blue onyx Luxor and good luck with your quest. You should be able to find the correct hoops pretty easily and bet someone out there would love to buy the Gretsch die cast hoops. Don’t underestimate some of the sparkles...
