Orangemi - is Chas Callias the same guy that later became Charlie Callas the comedian? I know Charlie Callas was a drummer and Callias looks like him just wondering if it's the same guy.

Yes, it's the same. He occasionally would do drum set schtick on the Tonight Show along with his stand up.

I have a '71 Ludwig matched set in the 20/13/16 configuration (pic 1) and have always been happy with how the three drums work together. I really like the 20x14 bass drum as it can be tuned up or down and hold its own in any situation. Later, I found a 8x12 and 14x14 in the same year and finish, so now I can set it up as a Downbeat (Pic 2)or one up and two down with either rack tom (Pic 3). In my opinion, 20" bass drums sound great and are a very versatile solution.

I love my Ludwigs in this size, great sound attack and feel.

WTF? You're selling them, but you love them?!

If you love them (if you can,) set them up somewhere and play them whenever you want to. You don't 'have to be' playing them out in order to justify keeping them. 'Loving them' is enough justification if that's what you need.

I could -never- sell the kit I'm playing now because I love them! And I'm not gigging! Keep your favorite babies if you 'really' love them.
