Leedy 14x7" Brass Broadway Standard

When I found this drum, it was wrapped in cheap wmp. Underneath the wmp was some white paint that was in very poor condition (probably the original "white enamel" finish).

I stripped the paint, and polished the hardware. I opted to leave the shell as-is, and not polish it because I love the look of the patina! :)

I didn't touch the shell at all, besides stripping the paint! I'm interested to see how it changes over time.

It seems to be natural patina combined with stains from glue.
